Waste Shredders

The BHS Rotor shredder (type RS) shreds, separates, and isolates materials. The shredding tools exert a high intense stress on the feed materials through impact, shock, and shearing forces. This results in selective crushing with the following characteristics:

The main applications for the rotor shredder are: 

WEEE, incineration bottom ash (IBA), Car Shredder Residue (ASR), electric motors, meatballs, and non-ferrous metals.

The shredding tools consist of several rugged hammers, which are flexibly mounted on a high-speed vertical shaft. They have a long service life and do not need to be adjusted or sharpened. The machine works continuously. As soon as the input material has reached the nominal shredding size, it leaves the machine without force through appropriately designed grid segments. This prevents unnecessary expenditure of energy.
